I write regularly about public education, organizational change strategies, democratic principles, and the power of the human voice. I’m also the author or co-author of five books.
In my writing, I rely too much on sports metaphors. I overuse words and phrases like “creating conditions,” “rendezvous,” and “the perfect amount.” I frequently begin sentences with conjunctions. And I’m always borrowing ideas and metaphors from my former boss and mentor, Charles Haynes.
