My passion is helping people create democratic work environments where everyone is learning and empowered and supportive of each other, and where it’s always a good idea to ask tough questions, challenge assumptions, and experiment with new ideas and ways of unleashing human potential.
I do this in a few different ways:
Strategic Business Consulting – From designing national campaigns and professional development modules to conducting audits of your current practices and/or finding ways to establish a more democratic culture, I help businesses and non-profits improve their external and internal communications and build stronger interpersonal capacity.
Strategic School Consulting – In K-12 schools across the country, I provide leadership development, professional training, and strategic advice about how to create a democratic learning community that creates the optimal learning conditions for students and adults.
Meeting Facilitation — Whether it’s a vital board meeting or an organization-wide strategic planning session, I structure and facilitate essential conversations in order to help groups clarify their next steps moving forward.
Professional Speaking – From keynoting major events to presenting at a private business meeting, I address core issues of democracy, learning and voice. You decide what the goal is and then I work backwards from that to decide what to say and how to say it.
Professional Writing – From curricula to Op-Eds to articles, I provide original copy that can effectively communicate the core messages of your work and/or organization.
