The Book of Learning Stories — Title Search

I need your help in coming up with the title for the book of learning stories. Whoever submits the winning entry will get a $50 gift card to the bookstore of their choice.

Here are the three I have so far:

  1. The Learning Book: 50 Powerful Stories of Learning & Teaching — In School & In Life
  2. Learning Matters: 50 Powerful Stories of Learning & Teaching — In School & In Life
  3. “Dear Mr. Hatfield”: 50 Powerful Stories of Learning & Teaching — In School & In Life

Yes? No? Maybe? Something else? Talk to me . . .

I like #2 because it’s a play on words. Your list of contributors is amazing and I think the second title plays into the variety of their experiences and the impact that learning has had on them and how they’ve become the people they are today, if that makes sense.

Number 2 is good, however, the term “Learning Matters” is a part of John Merrow’s brand these days. Might see how much he uses it before committing to it.

    Some ideas —
    Profiles in Learning:
    Everyday Learning:
    Lifelong Lessons:
    Anecdotal Learning:
    Learning Points:

Best of luck in the title hunt.

Since “learning” is in the subtitle, I think it doesn’t need to be in the title title. My ideas:

    1. What I Never Told People: 50 Powerful Stories….
    2. How I Got Here: 50 Powerful Stories…
    3. All These Open Secrets: 50 Powerful Stories…

Of your suggestions, I like #2, and others posted here in the comments are strong. A few other ideas to play with:

    Learning that Lasts a Lifetime
The Book of Teaching and Learning
    How Learning Happens

    Still like Learning Matters best.
